2002 Resources Bond Act (Proposition 40)
All Funds Have Been Allocated
On March 5, 2002, voters passed Proposition 40 by 56.8 percent. The $2.6 billion "California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002" (2002 Resources Bond Act) provided funds for local assistance grants, as detailed in Chapter 1.696 of Division 5 of the Public Resources Code
