Park Support Groups

Friends of Mt Tam
Friends of Mt. Tam (FMT) is a volunteer organization promoting the conservation, education and interpretation of Mount Tamalpais State Park by leading weekly hikes, staffing the Visitor Center and Gravity Car Barn museum at East Peak, and presenting astronomy programs in the summer. Please see the FMT website for more information: www.friendsofmttam.org.

The Tamalpais Conservation Club
The primary purpose of the Tamalpais Conservation Club (TCC) is to conserve the natural environment of Mt. Tamalpais. The TCC is known as the Guardian of the Mountain in recognition of its activities to preserve the scenic wilderness of Mt. Tamalpais. TCC supports retention of these lands as public parks and nature preserves and aids in the acquisition of open space.
