Malibu Creek Docent Association

The Malibu Creek Docent Association's primary goal is to raise funds for interpretation at Malibu Creek State Park and provide quality interpretive publications and programs about the natural history and habitats of the park.

This partnership between state parks and the association provides critical funding and support for docents to operate the park’s backcountry Visitor Center, lead nature hikes for visitors, local schools and inner city families, and assist with ranger campfire programs. Currently, the association is seeking funding to support future interpretation at the former M*A*S*H filming site and expansion of the visitor center Children’s Program to other outdoor areas.

Malibu Creek Docent Association has proven itself to be a valuable ally to the parks, visitors and staff at Malibu Creek State Park. Join them by becoming a member or by visiting their website at!
