Skills for Interpreting to Children
Conducted by California State Parks, East Bay Regional Park District, Army Corps of Engineers and National Park Service at several regional locations, this highly interactive training program is designed for journey-level field interpreters. The training takes place in a variety of park setting including urban parks, wilderness, and historic sites taking advantage of on-site programs and resources. Drawing upon the acclaimed interpretive staff of each agency as facilitators and trainers, the session emphasizes skills for interpreting to children K-6.
