Day Seven Log

Day Seven, August 8, 1988

Author: Rob Richardson

Activities: A short briefing was given by Foster and Beeker for the Fort Ross staff on the accomplishments during the past week on the Pomona site. Site plans and illustrations were displayed for viewing, and the future use of the wreck site for park visitation was discussed. Afterwards, it was decided that a dive should be made with two of the park rangers.

- Today was the last day dives. Beeker, Foster, Bill Walton and Mike Stephenson performed a guided "tour" of the dive site for the benefit of the park rangers.

- Other members of the project teams dismantled and cleaned the boats, as well as organized the dive equipment and camping facilities.

- Final details were added to the site plan and field report.
