Four Rivers AssociationThe Four Rivers Association funds and supports educational and resource projects and programs in state parks near Los Banos including San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area, Pacheco State Park, George J. Hatfield State Park, McConnell State Recreation Area, Turlock Lake State Recreation Area, Great Valley Grasslands State Park and Caswell Memorial State Park.

The Association publishes and sells books, pamphlets, maps and other aids that represent parks and their resources. They also provide funding for special events, guided tours, and other programs. The association also furnishes equipment and supplies to help park staff and volunteers tell the parks’ story to visitors; and provides research funds. Four Rivers Association is currently building a reference library.

Members receive quarterly newsletters with a schedule of events and activities in the various parks and adjacent refuges. Members also receive a 10% discount on maps, postcards and seed packets sold at Romero Visitor Center. Membership levels are $10 for individuals and $15 for family. New memberships are FREE for the first year. The Four Rivers Association has proven itself to be a valuable ally to the visitors and staff at state parks in the San Joaquin Valley.
