Basic Interpretation for Guides and Interpreters
This course offers solid foundational information on interpretation as a resource management tool. Course content was developed from experienced field interpreters. The Basic Interpretive Learning System (BILS) is used as the primary instructional resource. Basic principles and practices relating to both natural and cultural resources are identified and reviewed. Attendees are encouraged to participate in discussions and activities.
