Native Plant Restoration
Every second Friday and second Sunday, 1:00-3:00
Join us for removal of nonnative plants from the park. Volunteers will park (for free) at the end of the Azalea Picnic Area and then take a short walk to the work site. The project will last just 2 hours. Bring water and a snack if you like. Gloves and long pants are recommended. Plan to meet some great people and come away with a deep sense of satisfaction from helping to restore native habitat.
