Volunteering

You can help protect this magical place.

Visit the park! Soak up as much information and inspiration as you can. If you’ll be coming to The Forest of Nisene Marks or other California state parks frequently, buy a parks pass—an excellent way to save money and support state parks.

Volunteer your time to assist visitors and protect the park. To work on the Nisene Marks Volunteer Trail Crew, contact Advocates for the Forest of Nisene Marks.

For a broader look at volunteering in California state parks, try this web page to learn about volunteer opportunities in your favorite park or park district.

Support nonprofit groups working on behalf of this park, including Advocates for the Forest of Nisene Marks and Save the Redwoods League. On the League’s website, you can learn about other ways to get involved, including taking a pledge or becoming a citizen scientist.
