Coloma Gold Rush Live and will be held the second weekend in October, Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th from 10:00am-4:00pm each day. During this weekend we turn our park back into an 1850's tent town for our visitors to experience what life was like at the time of the California Gold Rush. The event will also consist of demonstrations, reenactments, kids games, gold panning, blacksmithing, tin punching, and much more!
This year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of California State Parks we have a few special activities planned to go with our theme Beards and Bonnets. We will have a parade in the morning to lead our visitors into the event of our docents with their best bonnets and beards on display. On Sunday of the event we will have a contest to find the best beards and bonnets at the event.
Cost: $8.00 per car
No dogs allowed at the event except service dogs
