California State Parks Announces Folsom Lake State Recreation Area Concession Opportunities

Sacramento, CA.--California State Parks is now accepting proposals for up to two concession contracts to develop, equip, operate and maintain snack bar and beach equipment rental facilities at the Granite Bay and Beals Point areas of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area in El Dorado and Placer Counties. The Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued for a five-year contract(s) with an option to extend for an additional five years.

Proposals are due on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 no later than 2:00 p.m. to the Department of Parks and Recreation, Concessions Program Office, Room 1442-7, 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, California 95814.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend an optional pre-proposal meeting on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park Visitor’s Center, located at 9980 Greenback Lane, Folsom, California.
