2027 Summer & Spring Programs

The Mission of the Crystal Cove Junior Lifeguard Program is to provide youth ages 7 - 15 with ocean safety education, while creating opportunities for high quality outdoor recreation. Our core values are aquatic safety, excellence, outdoor recreation, teamwork, and respect.

Summer Junior Lifeguard Program

The Crystal Cove Junior Lifeguard Program runs Monday - Thursday for three weeks, with a total of three consecutive sessions offered each summer (Mid June - Mid August). The Junior Lifeguard Program is designed to introduce youth to safe beach recreation, improve their physical conditioning, and develop their understanding and respect for out coastal environment.

All New Participants MUST complete the tryout swim.

2027 Summer Program Dates & Times (3 weeks each)

Session 1: Monday, June 14th - Thursday, July 1st

Session 2: Monday, July 5th - Thursday, July 22rd

Session 3: Monday, July 26th - Thursday, August 12th

AM: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm ($400)

PM: 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm ($400)

Extended Day: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm ($200) MUST BE ENROLLED IN AM

Spring Break Camps

We also offer two Spring Break Camps, which run one week each, Monday - Friday. These camps are designed to provide returning Junior Lifeguards with a head start to the summer and introduce prospective families to the Crystal Cove Junior Lifeguard experience.

No tryout required for Spring Break Camps!

Session 2: Monday, April 5th - Friday, April 9th

9:00 am - 2:00 pm ($275)

Registration: Opens April 17th 2027 @ 5 PM
