Overview
Dos Rios is located on the confluence of the Tuolumne River and the San Joaquin River in the Central Valley, about 8 miles west of Modesto. The park is the largest and most unique floodplain restoration project in California. While there are currently no entrance fees, the park is only open Friday through Sunday from 7am to 5pm. Nine family picnic sites and one group picnic site are available in the main day use area. All picnic sites are under shaded ramadas and are accessible. The picnic area includes accessible barbeques and a drinking fountain.
