STEVINSON— California State Parks has reached an exciting milestone in the Great Valley Grasslands State Park General Plan process and is inviting the public to weigh in on the park’s future. A virtual public workshop to gather community input on draft concept alternatives will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 6-7:30 p.m. via Zoom. This critical phase presents three distinct planning options that could guide the park's future management, operations and recreational development.
SACRAMENTO, Calif.— California State Parks today announced the department is developing a comprehensive General Plan for Great Valley Grasslands State Park (GVGSP). This initiative marks a pivotal step toward guiding the park's long-range management, operations, and recreational development. The General Plan aims to enhance visitor experiences, address resource management and infrastructure needs, and incorporate public input into decisions shaping the park's future direction.
